Dear Team

I have a battery drain issue

Last Friday turned up at the fuel station and turned the car off, but the lights were on,
I filled up and paid and went to start the car, it wouldn't Turn over,

So wanted for friend pf mine to turn up and we jump started and drove home.
The next morning it started up fine, took it work and was in the car park for 6 hours and it started up fine.

Yesterday, i was doing some diagnostic with autel Diag and and had the key tuned to switch position 1, this must be for about 20mins ad the car would not turn over.

Any ideas, or solution to try out?

I’m not a tech, so don’t listen to me…

But if that were me, I would test battery to rule it out as OK (or not), but sounds like something else is amiss.

Dodgy earth? Bad terminals?

Hello Sambo, thank you for your comments, I am going to tets the battery, but also the alternator.

If one of your electric auxiliary fans stays on it will drain the battery.
Could be a wise thing to check them out when you turn off the ignitnion.

thank you Noogieman, let me have a look at this,
