Just a to ask if anyone has a wind deflector and knows how they install / remove.

I have a 2001 CLK 230 and after buying it a few years ago I also bought the original Mercedes 208 Wind Deflector. At the weekend I fitted it for the first time. Works great and very pleased, HOWEVER, I went to remove it and cant. I have no instructions ans so despite pushing the plastic button thingy on the bracket tops whilst pulling in all directions, nothing is happening. I didn't want to force it and so have left it until now.

Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

    Thanks

The button on the brackets needs to be pushed hard to disengage the clip.

Needs to go down at least 15/20mm.

It is easier to get someone else to do the other side at the same time until you get the hang of it.

Completely agree, however do be careful of touching the mesh as it is quite fragile, especially near the joints

Thanks for the much appreciated advice. I did find the button was stiff but with a LOT of pressure on the button, the clamps released from the slots.
