    Hi all,

Today after reading another guide online, I found the little access panel where I can check the hydraulic fluid level for the hood.

Mine is on the minimum marker, being as the car is 15 years old it's hardly surprising. However, is it worth going to all the effort of removing the panels etc to top it up or just leave for now.

    Thanks...

You know that the level will fall to the point where the top doesn't work when you are out and there is a torrential downpour.
With that bird from reception that you always fancied and you can't believe you pulled.
On the way back from the pub after a few drinks to get her loosened up.
With the only traffic car operational in the county behind you.

    Do you feel lucky?
    Well?
    Do you?

    Haha....

Well I will look at doing it in the coming weeks then. It's on min now and works fine but clearly it needs topping up. It's a shame it's not easily accessible and you have to strip stuff out just to top the level up.

    Thanks...

I read another guide for a Jag where it stated with the roof raised the level should be on min and fully lowered should be on max.

Does anybody know if this is true for the MB?

That reminds me, I must check the level on mine and I would also like to know the answer to your question.
