w208 -how can i remove phone cradle

Hello to everyone out there I am new to this forum, I have recently got a CLK320, and have a couple of things to sort out, I have had the rust patches on the arches done, now I want to remove the phone cradle that was factory fitted, as I wont use it.
It is fixed behind the panel that houses the air con controls and some switches. Is there anyone how can tell me how to get this panel out, Ihave attached some pictures so you can see what I mean.

The heater control/climate control panel "pop" out, they are (as far as I am aware) not screwed in, you need to either get a panel removal tool or improvise with thin flat blade screwdriver etc and pry it out carefully. Obviously you'll need to be careful as you dont want to damage any wood trim. Even if you remove the panel using the correct tool be careful not to cause any damage. I am sure other members have more experience in regards to your question if your still unsure. Hope this helps.

What do you plan to do with this cradle? It possible for me to reserve those for me? Please... Im in a need for one. When you finaly remove all that (cradle, harness & additional units) you please let me know.
