Hi,

Some of you might have seen my other thread about buying a W208. I've found one that might be available quite cheap and is black which is my first choice but the only problem is, it has cloth seats which is a definite no for me. I was just wondering, how much do W208 leather seats go for? I can't seem to find them on ebay or google. Or are there any companies in the UK who makes bespoke leather covers for Mercs? Either way it probably would end up more expensive so I think I am most likely going to give it a pass.

There are so many W208s around now that I think it is better to wait for one with leather from the factory. I think if the car are 320s or more a lot will come with leather.

Yea, it is actually a 320... was quite disappointed when the seller told me it had cloth seats... It's just that I can hardly find any black ones around... oh well, I will give it a pass then... Maybe this time I will have enough patience to wait for a good one..

I had to be patient, but finally got a W208 230k with 2-tone leather last week and love it. Ideally, I really wanted:
- Leather (& not plain black!)
- Avantgarde
- Black
- Auto
In the end, I had to sacrifice the colour and ended up with very dk blue, but it's no great shakes - well chuffed. And this forum is great too!

You will need to haunt eBay....

I personally wouldn't pay more than £400 for a complete interior.
