Just come home from work and whilst reversing into my garage I noticed only half of the rear parktronic display is working!

Is it just the display or do the beeps stop working?

I will double check the beeps. But the half that's still working appeared to be working, in other words, as I got closer to the garage wall the yellow and red segments lit up.

On the Star you can check the displays by making them all light up.

Could it be a loose connection? Or could half of the display have packed up on me?

I have the gubbins of the display if you want to try connecting it up - the connector is behind the seat back.
It's a bit of a faff if it turns out you need replace the display unit - drilling the rivets out of the upholstery and stuff. Can be done though.

That's very generous of you Chris but I've just gone outside to have a fiddle with it and it seems to be okay now!!? Very odd! I'll see how it goes but might take you up on that offer thanks mate.
