    Hi folks,

does anybody know an easy place to pick up the speed pulse for GPS on a 2001 CLK 320?

i'm assuming its not on the iso, as none of the pinouts mention it - can i grab it from the back of the instrument cluster or similar?

    cheers

    Rob

I did this very job on my year 2000 W208 a few years back.

Firstly check whether it's already connected on the ISO block. (Pin 1 on block A).

If there is no cable there, then you can pick up the speed pulse from the passenger side 'A' pillar.
Remove passenger side door sill, side kick plate and footwell carpet (help with access).
Open up the black cable trunking and look for a blue connector block.
Your speed pulse should be one of these wires. Should be green with somthing.

(From memory, think mine was green with violet).
