W208 - Strange Smell & Seat control all confused!

1) Now and again we are catching a smell in the w208 coupe that we cannot track down. You know when you leave a wet cleaning cloth under the sink and it gets all musty? Well it smells just like that. I don't have any wet carpets and the smell is only there very occasionally. Thought it was just me at first (going mouldy before Mr Walker says it!) but Suzy Cute can smell it too!

2) Sometimes the seat control (passenger) moves the seat forwards when operated for backwards. Ony done it a couple of times

Any ideas?

It does need recharging actually - will that "service" it?

1) Pull up the carpets in the passwenger footwell. You may have a leak with water ending up here - very common. As there are a couple of inches of sound deadening the top carpet may not be wet but there could be loads of water sloshing underneath.
