W209 2006 ntg2 screen won’t turn on

Hi all,

My ntg2 unit in my clk500 (2006) does not power on at all, have done research and decided it was best I open it up to look for water ingress or any damage. Could not find anything at all and am stumped as to what could cause the screen to not turn on at all. When removing it I could see the lasers shining inside it through the metal cage so I know there’s power provided but unsure as to why the screen won’t turn on.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice?

Hi all,
Have some information that may shed some light.
I saw someone selling a spares and repairs unit and they said the battery died on the car and after a new battery the car the unit never turned on even though there was power inside and sounds coming from the unit.
The battery did die on my car as it was weak, I took it out put it on a battery charger and then refit the battery after. It would rest at 11.6 V however so I replaced with a new one but it matches this persons descriptions. Does this make it easier to identify?
