Hi folks. I purchased a w209 c220cdi which has had an offside impact causing the drivers door and o/s curtain to deploy. Also activated was the n/s rear pax seat belt tensioner.
I've replaced the drivers door which had sustained the brunt of the impact, also replaced the curtain airbag, door airbag and affected pax seat belt.
I've also had the airbag module reset.
My question is can I test the side impact / crash sensors to check if they are serviceable ? When measured with a multimeter they each read approx 30Mohms.
Do they need replacing or are they resettable ?
I obviously have not yet made the system live nor do I have access to star diagnostics.
Any info / guidance would be appreciated !
