W209 CAB Roof Noise

This 'wind' rattle at the top of the windscreen has developed over a period of time. Nothing obvious to look at but do the front attachments wear and can they be replaced? Or is there an adjustment to tighten it up?

Are you sure its wind rattle? I had a lot of noise from the top of the windscreen in may W209 cab......treated all the seals with silicone and the noise has gone.

I get some noise from the sun visors rattling.

When driving I can see the roof body move slightly from side to side. I'll have to pick a dry day, fold it down and see what is going on.

Sounds more like loose screw / bolt fixings...that's what I would check for first.

The centre fixing can be adjusted.. I had mine done due to water leak...
