My 2003 CLK soft top opens fine but will only close manually. I am trying to find out why using icarsoft diagnostics but the only thing I have found ( non diagnostically!!) is that the locking of the top into the windscreen is extremely stiff….almost to the point of fearing that something will snap ( using an Allen key as procedure describes).
