i know there are a few companies selling the aftermarket version of these, but i'm interested to know if when ordering a new car, does it HAVE to be specified at time of order, or can a MB dealer provide one as an accessory?

many thanks

You can get it as an accessory. Just walk into your part department and ask them. It wont be cheap though!

Try ebay, they often come up for sale on there.

I bought one on e-bay from cmb168 who is in Offenburg im Germany. He does not take paypal so wired the money. That was on 01 Sept and had to chase up a lot and only today advised it has been dispatched.

Be careful................

I got one off eBay for around £90 and am very pleased with it. :bannana:

Please to report that 26 days my e-bay purchase arrived, proper Mercedes Part No and new condition with a new bag - £200 vs £456 from the Merc dealer.

Tried it out and it is very effective, removes all wind buffetting even at high speed.

Easy to remove and folds in half to fit in the bag.

Had one for my W208 but this seems more effective.
