W209: Comand corrupt vehicle speed

Hi All!

I'm new to this forum. I found it by google:bannana:
I've a W209 from 2003 with a Comand 2.0 system. No retrofit but original.
When I go to the info screen of the Comand (mute + 1 + 3 button) and display the vehicle speed it says between -300 and +900 km/h no mather what speed I'm driving. When the car doesn't move it says 0 km/h which is correct. The direction (forward and reverse) is also correct.
The speed displayed on the odo meter is correct.
The Comand receives 8 satellites. Everything on the car is working like a charme.
I'm using an original navi disc from 2003.
I've got the Star diagnose maybe I can do some test with it?

I hope somebody can help me out.

Check in the coding that the system is coded as a W209. (You can tell the COMAND what model it is in) - I suppose the coding could have got corrupted.

Also, using Star Diagnosis, look in COMAND -> Actual Values, I think you can read the speed signal there

Also, using Star Diagnosis, look in the ESP and check what the individual speed signal sensors are sending (I think that is possible, also in actual values menu)
