W209 LED indicators

Anyone ever got led indicator bulbs to work in their post 2005 Merc? Love to get some that work in the back of my CLK

Had thought of doing that too but was advised by our local Mercedes specialist's top man that he's had all sorts of problems with customers who have fitted LED lights. Despite the claims a lot of them failed very prematurely and others played havoc with the car's electrical sensing systems for indicating blown bulbs.
