I'm new on here and need your help and advice. I have been offered a clk 240 convertible at a very good price but it needs the roof cloth replacing. The roof was damaged around the rear window when someone tried to get into it. The guy I'm buying it from is a workmate who has already bought a replacement cloth and I need to find out if it is a realistic diy fix. I am an engineer by trade so the thought of taking the car apart does not phase me at all but I dont know if any expensive special tools are needed or if there are special procedures that need mercedes training to complete the job. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
