W210 320 CDi

I have been looking for a W210 estate for a while, but my preference is petrol, there is a really nice looking E320 CDi for sale just now, with only a 111,000 miles, what are these engines like ? I am sure they can do mega miles, etc, but overall, whats it like to live wirh ? I wont be doing big annual mileage, and occasional long - 300 - 400 mile trips , and it will be my daily.

I can't help you with the engine, but from a long time ago when I was looking at this model I gave up: every single one seemed to be as rusty as a very rusty 1970s Datsun. I'd be astounded if you found one that wasn't.
