w210 Bonnet receiver replacement ?

hi all,

i have to replace the bonnet receiver that's on the slam-panel ( passenger side ) on my 1999 e240 and was wondering if there is anyone out there who has done this before or any gotchas I need to be aware of before i start .

hi all

i have replaced the bonnet receiver on the car but I still need to "drop" it from a height in order for it to close fully on the passenger side.

I'am afraid of damaging the bonnet/body work so any idea's if there is a special alignment required ?
