On a previous S210 there were problems with segments of the temp display gradually dissappearing. I searched the Forum and found some threads describing how to remove and dismantle the Instrument cluster and fit some rubber to increase the pressure on the cables to the displays as the original rubber perishes and the connections become loose. Followed the instructions and been fine ever since (I used rubber bands cut to the correct length).

Might take some finding as the Forum is now very big, but worth it for me.
