While out and about today I noticed on pullaway car was chucking out puffs of greyish sometimes black smoke I checked all hoses and they are fine although I think the hose from turbo to intercooler may need replacing it's incredibly soft and feels quite thin. I then checked all the sensors and thought as a quick test I'd unplug them one at a time to see if it made any difference . The first sensor I tried was the intake air temp sensor and immediately the car has stopped smoking and isn't running any worse without it. Does anyone know if this is ok to run without the sensor isn't that old and wasn't contaminated .
