Hi all, Can anyone suggest a possible reason for the following antics being exhibited by my 1995 E230 (W210)?
At the point where the engine reaches 'normal' operating temperature, the engine surges whilst driving. If I am sitting in a queue of traffic (in gear) the engine speed seems to drop and the motor becomes hesitant. If I knock the car into neutral whilst stationary, the engine settles normally.
I had the MAF sensor replaced a year ago so it is unlikely to be that.
