Sometimes, if I shift to neutral when waiting at traffic lights the box does not want to engage drive when it's time to set off.
I move the lever to 'D' but nothing happens, though it always engages eventually after a bit of shifting the lever back and forth after about 15 seconds or so. Obviously a bit embarrassing though.
Doesn't happen all the time, it usually engages within 1 second and it always shifts fine once it's engaged. Never happens when first setting off from park, only when shifting from neutral after the car has been running for a bit.
I've also noticed that when this happens, the engine does not respond to accelerator input at all and will not rev until the gear eventually engages.
Not a huge problem as I can just leave it in drive but interested to know what's going on. I am planning on changing the fluid and filter soon so maybe that will help.
