W210 E240 SRS Light

Hi
Have a E240 W210 saloon,
the SRS light is on
I know its a trick question but where is the best place to start to look,
on my old car it was a wire under the seat had come off after the seat had been moved.

It will be a chafed wire (to/from the yellow connector) under the passenger seat. You can either repair the wire or fit an emulator.

I hope it was cheap, that's 3 threads with not-so-cheap faults so far!

cheap enough, but all the faults I think are small and should be cheap easy fixes I hope

This one is cheap.

The wire to the seat sensor passes through a hole in the seat base, it's sharp (cut my finger sharp). Repair the wire...all done. If not that, then it'll be the seat pad itself. That's dear to fix...but an emulator is cheap.
