My father in law has a problem with his E300 DT not starting. He has been into the local Mercedes dealer twice so far and had the following replaced at a cost of £640.
All fuel pipes
The non return valve
The air pipes on the inlet manifold
2 fuel filters
The problem persists and he is booked into the garage for a third time in a couple of weeks.
Are there any other parts of the fuel system which could be at fault or do you think the garage have been focusing on the wrong area?
