    Hi all!

Can anyone tell me what the following is????

The large black rubber pipe that goes to the inlet of the turbo has a 1" pipe that joins it approximately 6 inches back from the turbo inlet, followed upwards this 1" pipe then connects to a round-ish black plastic thing on top of the engine (cam cover), I am guessing it is a breather????? can anyone fill me in???

    This is a straight six!
    Cheers
    Paul.

Yes, it is the breather pipe.

any ideas why it may be dropping small amounts of oil into the large turbo connecting pipe??? engine oil overfilled maybe (says it is perfect!) ?

They all do that sir. Don't worry to much about it.

You may want to replace the oil separator on top of the engine. It may help a little.
