w210 e320 cdi fuel filter

Hi AGAIN. Ive been having a fueling problem with my car. Was about to test the pressure from the delivery pump. I've just snapped off the pipe going into the fuel filter

Where do you think i could get the top of the filter case from? mercedes deal?

Oh and is this type of case on any other engine? Just looking though ebay now

Get a new one from mb dealer. They do get brittle with age. Low fuel pressure can only be tested from the output of the lift pump located on the front of the engine.

Is it not starting well?

I have replaced all fuel pipes including O rings (4 of!!) costs approx £90 but worth it....easy diy job...a couple of hours max.MB will give you a bit of discount if you buy them all at once.
My fuel filter top was ok so did not replace but I guess it don't cost that much.

I did get a hesitant start before I changed all the pipes mainly due to three of the pipes leaking diesel and drawing air into the system.......the new pipes made all the difference and she now starts on the button!
