It is azurite blue. Hopefully it should be a good car, I have to do with no sunroof though or parking sensors which I am not that bothered about.

Its still a great car, I like it a lot as it is a designo car with a lot of extras, curtain on the back, designo purple/grey wood inc steering wheel with leather stitched airbag, memory driver's side steering, dipping mirror in reverse, full amg kit and wheels and I have added an original amg back box.
Even getting out from the 55 in it, it still drives well. I have added a becker traffic pro HS and ipod connect so I get all the toys in that too.
I use it daily still. I will have to sell it later as running both cars with my high standard would prove expensive in the long term.

This is my 2001 E55 - going in for its MoT tomorrow as it happens.
My Mobilo life policy for my 2001 W210 320cdi Avantgarde estate clearly says the the bodywork cover is for 30 years. I'm a lawyer and there is no small print I can see that refutes this. Why are you saying theres an eight-year cut-off ?

Buccal I am working on the post count. I am surprised that black e55 from surrey hasn't sold yet on pistonheads. I honestly thought that car would be gone in a weekend.
Had a chat with him on sunday. Wasn't sure. He made lots of noise about his being priced right and all the others being sheds. Will probably take a look.
Have one possible (which isn't advertised) but 9 owners in 9 years.

Raised a few eyebrows with me too,
Should have bought your 55, kicking myself as i had no idea how difficult it is to get a decent CLK or E55 thats not in silver.
I wish you had too so I could visit sometimes .. as it is, the CLK is now in Belfast, hardly 'local', like you are !

Another 55 just appeared on the autotrader with 52,000 miles in silver but looks like no tv and dual colour interior. I would have gone for it with that low mileage. £8k
