W210 E55 AMG With Light Damage

At least £3k's worth of damage if you replace with new parts and get it done at a decent bodyshop

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest it's a lot of money for a wrote off vehicle.

E55AMG

My thoughts exactly, it's still a 120K mile cat D car, regardless of condition ;)

Or an estate sleeper for 7k,

I too think the money asked is too high for what it is, I have noticed a lot of these insurance write offs coming onto the market, fixable - but not worth it, if you had a garage and the time then maybe, but you can get one thats works for a little bit more and that isnt recorded, take the time you spent into account and it just cant be financialy viable

I think that these cars are bought by DIY guys and they dream of a quick fix, but often come unstuck.

I re call the guy who bought a flood damaged car and came onto the forum, cant think what it was but his problems were horrendous and there was no way that one could get through to him about the problems

it does say full service but not full service history, it also has warranty, I assume it would have to have service history to get this warranty?

what worries me is this statement

`Mileage Incorrect`

maybe thats just a typo,

if I wasnt nearing another ban due to some women in a god forsaken little yellow car crashing into me and then blaming me I would go and have a look at it, its a beautifull sleeper

Sorry thats just me not spotting the info in the advert.....well if it has full service history its a very good price!

vlad, im not saying it does have history, but the advert is badly written, all the information appears twice, it says full service, that just means ist has just had its big service, worth a look I think, I like it,

Looks expensive for what it is. There are other things you need to consider about cars like this..
How many keys are there?
Is there an owner's manual, service history or previous MOTs?
Is there a spare wheel, jack and toolkit?
Does the seller know the radio code?
Getting a logbook will take several weeks (sometimes months) and cost money.
The cost of small parts soon adds up.
