Does anyone know or can find out how many W210 E55 made it into the UK??

its looking like no, I went into Merc about 2 years ago when I was looking for a black W210 E55 with black leather, I asked them whether 1 was ever built as I had been looking for years, they then said they didnt know and had no way of checking, then it was greenoaks and I am sure they were voted the worst garage on here a few years back, sorry I dont think I could be any less help,

Funnily enough when I was looking for my E55 I was after a black metallic one with black leather as well. I waited for 6 months and nothing came up so in the end I brought my current car which is silver with the two tone leather.

I think there is a black on with black leather on autotrader now

I hope when I upgrade to the current W211 E55/E63 I can find a black one with black leather. They seem to be more popular.

I once read 12,000 W210 E55 AMGs were made, but that was for worldwide distribution, so not much use.

I waited so long before I got mine when I got it I convinced myself it was the only black with black right hand drive example, I have now found a 1 or 2 more since (only 1 or 2 actually) so black with black is rare, there is 1 on ebay now and 1 facelift 1, I went to see a facelift 1 and with the ortho seats the leather is not as good as it has to move, I would rather have the nappa option,

I found a black one with black leather - 2001 Y reg though quality wasn't at all good despite it only being 54k miles Certainly not a patch on mine despite it being a 1999 C43...
