The silver one.
Has anyone fitted one of the flat wiper blades to their 210?

I have and its crap! the bits of the screen it wipes it wipes very well the prob is the bits it miss's:mad:

Worst side is drivers side where it leaves a smear 2/3 rds of the way up the screen aprrox 2 inchs wide.

Seems to me like it cannot deal with the curvature of the screen.

Ive fitted them on my ML.

They clear the same amount as the normal balde BUT the squeak like bad !! drives me crazy, even if it chucking it down the squeak squeak squeak aarrgghhh

No noise on mine:) whats annoying is they seem to clear screen better than the new mb wiper i fitted a few months ago even from new was nothing special, if the flat wiper the whole screen it would be excellent.

Its the same on the W202, I lose about 2cm due to the curving of the screen.

You can just about make it out here on mine:

Apart from that they are great.

Hi,
I have just fitted them to both my W202's and I get exactly the same problem. But I,ll live with it till the summer and replace them with OE Bosch items.
The flat blades i bought were off of E-bay and were unbranded, has any one tried a Bosch flat blade on their car?

I agree with KillerHERTZ, i have just put my second one on the C43.

I tried the non branded one from my loacal motor spares shop on my W208 and got exactly the same problem and the horrible squeaking. I junked this and ordered the Bosch replacement, cured the squeaking but it still misses part of the screen, back to the original MB part for me

ive just replaced with a valeo one which doesnt squeek, and misses less than the cheapo ebay ones

Fitted the Bosch ones from here: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ and I have to say a vast improvement, but then I have two blades, not the single.

Personally I don't think they are suitable because they are sploilered on one side which could lead to blade-lift on the passenger side......

Ciao.

There's a clue there somewhere...;)
