W210 Heater problem?

Hi folks,
I currently have a diesel E220 cdi..2000 model (w210),all is ok apart from that recently the internal heater seems to be taking quite a while before it starts throwing out warm air and if I`m honest even on a long run out the air is never really warm like it should be.Have recently changed the regulator as before this the fan blower was not working properly. Any thoughts as what may be wrong and how much to put right?

I second that my w203 was the same until I changed the thermostat now alls well

Hi had same probelm engine thermostat I would say get an orginal Mercedes one
