Hi, my facelift w210 estate has faulty displays for both the clock (R/H side) & the outside air temperature (L/H side of cluster). They are both faulty in that some of the LEDs have obviously failed as you can only read part of the displays. I've had the instrument cluster out to check it wasn't just cluster bulbs but it wasn't that.
Does anyone know any fix for it please? Outside air temp I'm not so worried about (I can tell when it's hot or cold outside!) but really annoying the clock as I don't wear a watch!!
Any help much appreciated :)
Thanks, Lawrence

(BTW: the main display in the centre of the cluster is working fine, ie; the millage display, etc)

The small LCD contacts are not good, and after about 8years start to fail. SPEEDOFIXER.com will replace them for about 160 I think. (at least they did mine). Not 100% sure of price. My dealer wanted a grand for a new cluster...

You can fiddle with it, and it might work temporarily, but if you are going to keep the car then might as well get a proper job done.

Thanks mate :)
