W210 lowering

Hello i have a question i have mercedes benz w210 2002 avantgarde and i plan to put 18 zoll rims, precisely 225/40 r18. My question is: is anybody on this set of rims, does it scrape or something when riding,steering etc..

Very hard to say without knowing the wheel offset and width, very important as determines how far in or out the wheel/tyre will be. If all is stock and using 'normal' size 8.5J etc width wheels I'd say 225 wouldn't catch and is too narrow for the back.
