Hi All,
Should be picking up my 'new' 2001 W210 E320CDI tomorrow. I urgently need to fit a Bluetooth Handsfree phone kit and was wondering if anyone can perhaps advise if the 'radio' is just a 'standard' radio or if it's 'talking' to the rest of the car on some sort of databus. Got caught out when I fitted the same kit to my old Volvo V70 because I had to buy another box from Sony-Ericsson and another box from Volvo in order to get the full functionality of the Bluetooth gizmo. The unit currently installed in the E320 appears to be a standard radio/cassette player, with a remote CD changer. If it's going to get too complicated, I guess I'll have to get my local stealership to fit it for me.
