W210 Rear Suspension Springs

Hi.
My 2001 W210 saloon has failed an MOT because of broken rear spings. Try as I can: I cannot find a suitable spring compressor which will remove the rears. All compressors appear to do the front only. Can anyone advise on which tool would fit?

You don't need compressors to do the rears.
I replaced mine with E55 springs some years ago on my driveway with a trolley jack.

Yep, no compressor needed on the back. Just basic tools and some patience

I've used that technique many years ago however I decided that I could do without the excitement associated with a tensioned spring! I've taken the wimps way out and put it into a garage! Pick it up this morning.

There is hardly any tension on the rear springs once the body is raised.
