w210 rustiest ever?

There was one offered a few weeks back on the retro rides forum, i think it was petrol, sold for £400. Had all the usual rot and an oil leak.

TBH, my Dads W210 isnt that far behind this in the rust stakes :(

The engine bay looks honest though, no obvious oil leaks and not been steamed cleaned up for sale. What sort of mileages will those deisels do?

depends on how theyve been serviced, at that sort of money if you got a couple of years out of it, its cheap motoring

One of those was always going to be the replacement for my W124 E250. The only rust on mine is due to stonechips, those just seem to rot for any reason. Shame really, as they drive nicely.

To Be fair having covered 320K miles and given it hasn't even be cleaned or hovered for the pics its doesn't look 'too' bad.

Obviously served someone well, are there two liitle hole in the back bumper for the taxi plate?

:)

With that amount of surface rust it will look like Janner's underneath.
See photo's here:

I've seen a totally original 1949 Citroen Traction Avant with less rust.
