W210 self levelling oil

Does anyone know what oil is used in the self levelling system on the W210 E Class as I want to change the filter and oil

The spec is on the lid of the reservoir...available from MB.

Frankly, I'd be amazed if ZHM is different to Citroen LHM, but since Citroen suspension and all associated items are covered under patent, I suspect it has to be called something different.

The market for ZHM must be tiny.

Can I by it from any motor shop and how much does it hold

A couple of litres, iirc.

Genuine Mercedes stuff is made by either Aral or Castrol and it's called Vitamaol, which is a mineral oil...so definitely brake fluid would be unsuitable as that is a vegetable ester.

Actually I lied...I was walking to the door when I remembered my car is in the garage getting some much needed work done.

Sorry but another question. Is there a drain or is it best to let it pump out and flush though with the new?
