Gutted. I really could have used these. 50p they went for, and 40 miles up the road from me! I must add them to favourites again, thanks for the alert anyway!

Aha! Opportunity knocks! Have you got any 16" W210 wheels kicking around that you don't know what to do with?

Ermm - not really. A friend of mine has a spare set of 16" Avantgarde wheels, but they are pretty tatty (read = need refurbishing).

But you can get seriously lucky with those last-30-seconds bids ... I've lost out more times than I care to remember to someone who must have been poised hovering over their keyboard with seconds to go. Luckily I've got something like a life to get me out a bit. I've been trying to set my mobile phone up to bid - I get alerts via novartis - but the GPRS wotsit seems to be up the creek. Anyone encountered this and solved it?
