How simillar is the W210 E-class to the previous E-class (W124?) with respect to suspension and steering? Would a Haynes manual for the older model be of any use as a guide should I wish to do any work on a W210?

    Cheers.

    Hi Dave, :)

I'm guessing the suspension on a W210 'E' is totally different from a W124. Also that the W124 Haynes manual would not be of much use to a W210 owner, apart from descriptions of the most general procedures without the specifics to a particular model.

I'm no mechanic but just my opinion.
