Last night the window regulator in the nearside rear door died with a crunch and the window dropping down all the way.
Didn't sleep much last night after wedging the glass up with a piece of card as the car was parked in urban East London.
Bought a new regulator this morning and fitted it myself. Another good testament for this forum as normally I would have paid someone else to do it.
I did have to buy a rivet gun just to stick 4 rivets in but the whole job was completed in under an hour.
It is quite shocking to see the state of the old one especially as the rear windows hardly get used. The number of knots in the cable would put a boy scout to shame.
