W211 2003 NTG1 TV Tuner Reverse Camera

Hi,

After seeing Member Badgex fit a reverse camera to his tv tuner I thought I'd too give this a try. I believe his one is a later model as its an E63 I believe. I checked the tuner I have, it has a brown antenna cable, 2 RCA ports (yellow, red & white), 4 pin tv cable and a MOST fibre cable too I believe. Though the menu option on the headunit only shows DVD. No TV, Aux1 or Aux2 option as per manual. Its been there since I got the car and it shows up when using vin decoder (860 TV_Tuner analogue). I checked the fuse too which has the 7.5 amp in place and not broken. Not sure what else needs to be done to get it to activate.



Any suggestions?

Its been a while since I looked, but I think they are turned off/on with coding (and they can be made to appear in the presets menu)

If you go into engineering mode it will tell you what hardware is installed.
