Hi, I was driving my wife's E270 today and it seemed dead not picking up speed like it used to,just a gradual slog along, it will get the rev's up if I down gear using trip tronic change. Any ideas, feels like the turbo is not kicking in.

Needs to go on STAR diagnostic could be many things

Check the inlet pipes from filter to Turbo to the inlet manifold could be a loose or split hose, cheap fix if it is!!

Listen for hissing air escaping also

Had the same on our E320 and unfortunately turned out to be a knackered turbo. Plenty of refurbed units about but fingers crossed it’s just the hoses.

It could be turbo actuator and not the actual turbo...

Try a turbo cleaner anyway, worked on mine.
