Good people, I need a bit of advice before I go digging into my rear end. I had a surprise MOT fail this morning on my rear left forward upper control arm. I had been over it with a leaver along with others prior to sending it for it's test (just rebuilt the front with lower ball joints as it was in need, however when rocked left and right holding the wheel at 9 and 3 there is play in the bushing attached to the hub.
Questions I have are:
1) can I get a bush for the hub end, if so does anyone know the part number. I can press in and out no bother.
2) if I have to swap the arm, there doesn't appear to be access on the body side. Is this a full subframe out job or is there clearance if I drop the one side?
Anyone that's been here before...your wisdom will be much appreciated.
