W211 2007 facelift led side light bulbs mystery

Hi All,

As some of you are aware the side light bulbs in the the facelift version (2006 onwards) of the W211 are nothing like the normal wedge type bulbs and are in fact Led.Having looked at a 2008 facelift E class with xenons,the side light bulbs look to be what appears to be a glass stem with an angled end finish.

Does anyone have any knowledge of these original MB bulbs, part no's?

I would really like to know if these bulbs would fit my 2005 E55.

I know there are lots of alternative bulbs on the market, but I would rather stick to the MB originals if possible.

Any help would be much appreciated.

been here before, the LED side lights are part of the facelift headlamps, not avail seperately.... just fit some aftermarket ones, job done. facelift headlamps will fit but auto leveling and active cornering (if you have that option) will not work

You have obviously done your homework on this one. Can you recommend which are the best to use as there appears to be many on the market? I've noticed that the side lights in the facelift W211 appear to give off a blue effect and this is the look that I am looking to achieve.
