As the title suggests is it normal. A motorway run gets about 34/35 mpg.
That seems a bit low. I usually get high thirties on motorway runs at 80ish.
I guess that your in-town mileage might be relevant in very stop/start traffic?
I can get over 50mpg on a run on the motorway...but in town it can be very very low...below 20mpg sometimes.
I used to get high 20's around town and around the 40 mpg mark on a motorway run being heavy footed but not any more after an MB repair
It begs the question, what exactly was repaired?
Inlet manifold replaced.
What is the normal running temperature in town? Needs to be around 90C on a cdi for good efficiency.
uhmm a little low id say, if im carefull i get that on the E55 on A roads!
I get about 23-25 around town, stop start traffic all the way. On the motorway I get high 30s and this is on a W221. A little low or..?
