Help please fellows.....

I have noticed that my E320CDI V6 is getting harder to start after standing overnight. So far it has always started but when I turn and release the key it cranks about 20 times before firing.
Once started it is fine all day, starts first time. Looking on google a few posts come up regarding some rubber seals in the fuel lines getting hard and letting air in when cold.

Can anyone shed some light on the problem before I have to take it to the local indy. If it is a simple DIY job I am up for it. Where are the rubber seal locations, and is this the most likely problem?

Thanks

I think I would treat the glowplugs as the primary suspect.

I am not aware that the hardened fuel lines/seals afflict the 211s. Is the glowplug indicator lamp in the cluster behaving normally?

Yes no glowplug light showing after initial start up.....

Did you resolve this. My E280 CDI (W211 2007) won't start first time after an overnight rest? No warning lights and glowplug light behaving normally.

Update - My indie replaced the glow plug relay and all is well.
