I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. My W211 320CDI with the 7 speed autobox is playing up.
It will not allow me to select reverse or park unless I take my foot off the brake pedal. I changed out the brake light switch and the problem remains. I am thinking inhibiter switch in the gearbox but not sure if this is the problem or how to tackle it. It is an intermittent problem at present I would appreciate any advice before I start pulling things apart.
