W211 AUX input

Hello eveyone I have a w211 E280 CDI from 2007. With Audio 20 MF2770 which it doesn't support AUX input. I bought genuien AUX cable and connect to the audio and hold CD-C ti activate the aux but bothing happend...I find out not all MF2770 support aux.
I am not intersted to upgrade to after market unit or navigation , all I need to make aux working. I was looking to buy used unit but how can I find out that does support aux inpit...

W211 E class with Audio 20 up to My 2008 has no AUX facility. Head unit simply wasnt designed for one. Cars with Comand have AUX and the My2009 onward with NTG 2.5 Audio 20 also.

Not necessary I have seen many w211 with the same audio has Aux input....I seen them in 2004 and seen on 2006 and 2007

Those with Aux input are not Audio 20.
Post # 3 above clearly tells you what you need to know.

Not as factory fit you havnt! There was a video doing the rounds a while back where someone had opened up an Audio 20 and had soldered a pair of wires onto a circuit board and then played a completely silent CD. This gave them a very rudimentary form of aux.

I have no Aux ,hence no way of originally streaming music. can anyone advice me on the best head unit to get, be it OEM or aftermarket
