W211 Bonnet Stuck?

My W211 bonnet is stuck.

It unlatched from the initial release in the cabin, but the secondary ‘pull’ thingy that sticks out the front grill is stuck when I try and pull it to allow me to lift the bonnet up?

Any ideas?

Try pressing bonnet down a little without too much pressure to cause any damage.

Sometimes the catches get stuck as they are rarely lubricated by folks in the garages.
