W211 boot liner

Could any other W211 owner let me know if there is a panel that fits under the rear shelf (inside the boot)?

Mine just has the metal shelf showing and I just wondered if this was the norm.

I don't know whether it is the norm or not, but mine is the same.

its the norm, no panel there . just painted metal and speakers
